Welcome to the Holocaust Resource

The Holocaust Resource is an educational project with the aim of being the most comprehensive resource of information about the Holocaust. We have looked over the internet and have noticed that there is a lack of websites aimed at providing indepth information about the subject of the Nazi holocaust. Most other websites we have found cover only certain aspects about the history and events of this horrendous point of world history. It is our aim to cover, in detail, as much varied and valuable information as we can find about the Holocaust in order to educate the general population as to the reasons for these events, the victims and why we should work to insure further genocide stops.

The Holocaust Resource is still under construction. We are looking for volunteers to assist us in building a comprehensive Holocaust education resource. If you can help us, please follow link for more information. Help with our website »

The Holocaust Resource offers a range of educational products such as lesson plans, books and work packs in order to assist teachers in prepairing lessons on this subject. Our lesson plans and educational resources can be used in conjunction with this website, or within their own rights. We are also looking for Holocaust survivors or families of victims to assist us with the authenticity of the information we provide. If you can assist us in any way, we would be very happy to hear from you. Please contact us if you are able to assist us in any way.

The Holocaust Resource News

We are hoping soon to arrange an educational trip from the UK to Auschwitz for people in the educational field. We believe this will be benifical for teachers who are involved in teaching students about the holocaust to experience one of the settings. As yet, we have no details as to when the trip will take place, nor the cost. We are waiting for an active response from visitors to this website to see how many people will be interested in taking the trip and a mutually acceptable time for the trip to take place. If you are interested in taking part in our Auschwitz experience, please email us and let us know.

The Holocaust Exhibit at The Imperial War Museum, London

The Imperial War Museum, Lambeth, London has made the Holocaust exhibit a permanent feature. They have a wide range of artifacts taken from many of the victims, camps and survivors of the Holocaust. There is also a great wealth of information such as original documments, film footage, propaganda articles and a scaled down model of Auschwitz for visitors to see. I have visited this exhibit around 50 times and am always overwhelmed by the experience. The exhibit is located on the 2nd and 3rd floors.

Also, the top floor has a permanent exhibit of genocide in the 20th century named "Crimes Against Humanity". This exhibit features a 45 minute film and interative computer information. This exhibit is also well worth a visit.

If you would like more information on the Holocaust exhibit at the IWM, or general information about the museum itself, please visit the Imperial War Museum website. School visits are available. Admission to the IWM and Holocaust exhibit is free, though donations are appreciated and needed. Thank you.
